Default Suspension Suggestions...

I tried posting this in the suspension forum, but that forum doesn't move at all. I need some suspension suggestions for my 00 ex coupe. This is my daily driver. I am looking to be about 2.5 inches lowered on my daily driver. I am looking for something with a good ride. Slightly stiff is ok, BUT i do not want anything that is going to jar my brain if I run over a pebble. Thanks

Mike

BTW Im leaning toward GC/Koni Yellows

2.5" is excessive. I'd go no lower than 1.5" myself, especailly on a daily driver. Your GC/Koni Yellows combination is a good one; that would be what I'd recommend to you.

Tein. They are nice and you won't have to buy any upgrades later on. Why buy cheap now when you will upgrade later? Get a nice front/rear camber kit now to make sure your camber doesn't go to ****.

I ran 1.8F/1.6R H&R Sport springs on my 92 Hatch and it wasn't that low at all. I don't think 2.5 is really that much more than almost 2 which is what I was running before.

Koni/GC for sure. I have the setup, I'm pretty low and my ride is WAY smoother than when I was running H&R Sports. Car handles like it's on rails too, just make sure to get the shelf rates for DD. They're SO worth the $750 that I payed.

I'm running Tein S-Tech springs and Tokico Illumina struts on my daily driver.

It's about a 2" drop & the S-Techs are fairly soft. I like it because the car is lower & the suspension is a little stiffer, but it's not like being on a wooden roller coaster.

How low are you? Is the setup stiff enough to keep it from bottoming out? Im worried about scraping everywhere and dragging my huge *** apexi resonator all over curbs and stuff. I am really second guessing lowering my car. I might just get rid of my few mods and go back to stock.
