Default Suspension, Steering, Tires

Well tomorrow I'm pretty much tackling a trifecta of work. I'm replacing almost every bushing in my '94 EJ with ES bushings, replacing my inner tie rods with new OE inners, and ordering new tires.

First off, how easy is it to chang the inner tie rods. I've noticed the boots around my existing ones are worn and both clips are gone. Should I buy new OEM boots and clips for both sides. I assume this will prolong the life of my inner tie rods.

Second is tires. I'm really leaning towards the new Hankook Ventus 215/45/16, but will a 225/45/16 fit. I have an H22 swap which is seeing some high boost this summer, so I want to be able to hook up, and the fact is that more surface are = better hookup when it comes to tires.

Just wanted to see if there's anyone who can throw a little advice on this subject for me.

Thanks,
Rob

Good point. They're 16x7 Axis Lenso VPDs. Can't find the offset, but would there tires rub my inner fender wells? I have the car dropped about 1.5 inches and will set the camber negative for better handling.

That's a good tire choice!
I have 205/40/16 and never had a problem
I don't think 45 are that much bigger than 40s

Yeah but a 205/40 is a world of difference from a 225/45.
