Suspension questions... searched
Hey,
Im a newbie in terms of posting, but ive been on honda tech for a while now... so hopefully i dont get ripped for another omni question, but ive searched, so here goes. I just put omnis on my 92 hatch yesterday, and took it out. They are lowered a considerable amount, and def need to be raised but i dont think it has anything to do with this problem.
Whenever i go over a bump the rear suspension makes a loud metal on metal clank. its bottoming out the suspension? i feel like that has nothing to do with how low it is, just based on the way the setup of the coilover is, so is it maybe another moving part in the suspension? Hopefully this isnt a dumb question.... be gentle.
Eric

Re: Suspension questions... searched (StreetEG)
with the rear jacked up and the wheel off is there anything that is still moving or can be moved when you place your hands on the damper and try to shake it back and forth? are the 2 nuts on the top of the damper on and tight ? it could be bottoming out just depends how big the dip you hit is, i mean does it do this all the time or just large bumps ?
