Default Suspension question plus Mods read please

I cannot post in suspensions area so I figured I would post in here, out of the cheaper coils overs, which is better? the cheapo ebay brand or the APC. The reason I ask is my little bro just bought a hatch and he wants to lower it but he lives with my parents still and money is a issue. So what would you guys perfer, I can get the APC I think from like pep-boys but then that would mean I have to lower his car this weekend if her orders them from ebay, I can put it off. Thanks anything at all would help.

if ask me both are gay and dangerous to your kidneys and life. IF you just lower the car (especially with some shitty springs it will ride like **** and eat tires). Then you find yourself in the ditch because your cars suspsion sucks and it decided to hop it's way out of the turn. plus shitty springs have a tendecy to sag, and stock/or crap shocks will give you crappy ride/handleing along with kidney problems.

I would spend at least $700 to lower the car decently. I would suggest omni-power full coilovers with camber A arms, one of the best deals out there. There are bunch of other ways you could drop it properly but I'm not going to get into this.

I bet you in the matter of minutes there are going to be people here with their **** brand springs/shocks posting how good their set up is.

I'm just not going to argue about this **** right now.

Just get a set of Lowering springs. you will be much happier. Most people don't adjust the height anyways...

Yea but this is my bro's car and its a **** box anyways and he wants coilovers to be cool. So I told him I would put them in if he bought them, and I dont think my parents want to spend 700 on a set-up. I only spent 500 on mine and thats not that bad.

You can get "good" Springs for $200, then you can even get some new struts/shocks.

The ride is better with springs anyways?
