suspension question...please help
Okay so this may be a dumb question, but I just put ViS v-spec type 2 coilovers on my 92 hatch. I have them as far down as I can spin them and I still have like 2 inches of space between my fender and the tire...I wanted it to be almost even. I have 15's on my car but still...shouldn't I be able to slam a car with coilovers even if I roll 15's? I only have the rear done and I also put new shocks in but they're stock ones. So any help or info. would be great.

Re: suspension question...please help (CandyRedHatch)
my buddy had the same problem.
it's the shocks man. the stock ones are too long.
unfortunately, u'll have to buy a set of shorter bodied aftermarket shocks.
although, i'm not familiar w/ v-spec coil-overs, this my my best guess.

How long ago have you done this? If it was recent give it about a good week to settle, and even then you will see it settle more later on. I lowered my car and you could definately tell that it settled quite a bit. I would recommend throwing on some shocks too because that could also be your problem.
