Hey Guys, I have a 95 del sol si I purchased this car about a month ago. The car is slammed, but I think it was done way wrong. The car is very very very bouncy, and when it hits the slightest bump it hits very very hard. I want to redo the suspension, I guess springs, and shocks...but I dont know where to start looking, and what suspension parts are good. I can spend anywhere from $300-$800 I like the way the ride height, but if it was an inch higher, Im sure that would still be fine. Thanks for your time.

get some ground controls and koni yellows. If you look hard enough you can find some for around 800, maybe a little more.

try http://www.nopi.com for suspension if you are unsure where to look. Are you planning to do the work yourself ? If so, check what type of springs/shocks you have now so you could avoid making the same mistake getting the same crap.

tein is always a good choice.

I do selling and shipping of Teins. I can get the Basic Dampers (what I run on my Si) for $700+tax+shipping (whatever way you want it shipped) if that's what you'd be looking for. It would probably put you right on $800. The Tein Super Streets are better, stiffer spring rate, more pricey.

The reason why car slams down like that is because there is little to no gas left in your shocks. Your springs have to take the weight (which they can't).
