suspension dilemma
i bought some ITR springs and shocks to put in my ek. the rear shocks dont fit so i just used the springs on my stock shocks. but when i did the front, the shocks wont fit on because the top hat part is square shape and not circle... i had an idea to just use the stock civic top hats on the ITR spring and shock so it would fit, but i need a shop to decompress it, as i cannot undo the ITR spring assembly by hand. my questions are;
how much do u think a shop would charge just to decompress two shock assemblies?
has anyone put ITR shocks on an EK and can help me out with advice?

Re: suspension dilemma (Wazup)
Im pretty sure you need itr rear lca's to make the rear shocks/spring combo work. And yes you can also rent a srping compressor and compress them yourself

Re: suspension dilemma (menkio)
or be a man and do them in your room with some vice grips and pillows... lol. (aka the ghetto way)
Shop might charge anywhere from 10-20 dollars for each one. It's so quick and easy, you will be tempted to buy a wall mount compressor too.
