Default Suspension

I can get a set of Tokico blues and neuspeed race springs for 300 bux, but one of the rear shocks have a small dent in them, I know the guy and the stuff aint really old. It is really low mielege due to his car being down.

Is it worth it, is the dent really a big deal with the performance of the shock?

i wouldn't really think a dent would do much to the shock, just make sure its not punctured. If its a decent size dent, it may make that rear corner a little stiffer.

I wouldnt get it. But then again i wouldnt get tokico blues because they arent really adjustable. Get yourself a REAL coilover setup... not a sleeve-over on shocks.

Yeah I want Tein, but can't afford it right now, saving up money for a motor right now. Is it at least a deal for 300, the stuff only has about 300 miles on them.

Id worry about getting the engine first.. then worry about saving up for suspension later.. theres no reason why you should spend 300 dollars on something you intend on replacing after a while.. itll just slow the process of fixing your car up down.

Yeah I'll just wait and get what I really want, real suspension from Tein.

Thanks

Definitely pass on the Tokico blues. Even without the stiffer Neuspeed springs, they'll be toast soon enough. Their quality is consistently bad, and I'm not sure why they've never gotten better. The Illuminas are better, but stay away from the blues.
