my buddy has a supercharged del sol with a custom on/off switch setup. using the super charger and bypass off a mercedez hack part. it's pushing 170 whp. just wondering if anyone else would be interested in this setup. advantages to this is that the supercharger doesn't have to run all the time. with the flip of a switch it could be turned off or on. also its all stock internals. he's had it for about a year and runs fine to this day anyway lemme know what you guy's think about this.

it runs off the air conditioner pully with a hack mercedes bypass. so that's why it has a switch there is two in the city with the same set up. i am from canada. i have yet to see this done by anyone yet put the setup is nice and works well. d16/zc same motor? i though that there was a difference in hp but o well.

d16z6 is the stock d16 in there

Tim at Unleaded Racing is the brain behind the "air konditioner" It's a supercharger with an electro magnetic clutch so you can turn it on and off.... He will build you a complete system (including hondata) for about $4000. It's pricey, but everything is custom made by Tim in his shop. Quite a few people have had it for a while (over a year) and it is a great setup.
