Default Super Idle Problem, Help!

(IACV Damaged [Oscillating], FITV Eliminated, IAT New, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires)

Well the story begins when coming to my house today I'm on the normal way, when I reach a stop the car listening a "Plak" and begins to oscillate, the car starts to oscillate (cuz damaged IACV) as well but super fast from 1200rpm to 1400rpm and then I was like "what has happened here?" ... the car stopped making the classic Oscillating IACV and started to do that ...

when I accelerate in first gear while I'm getting the clutch and speeding to exit ... revolutions begin to swing higher ranking between 1100 and 1500rpm and when the car goes out, the car starts to kick...

please help !?... : (

here a video of exactly what happens to me but the difference is that mine does not go out ...

mmmm... i dont think this is my problem, cuz if u want to look for leaks, u must take off your air intake and put ur hand and close the entire throttle and the car MUST go out... if don't, the car have leak...

anyone else please...

IACV which stands for Idle Air Control Valve...

That would probably be the idling issue if its throwing Code 14, take it off and clean it all out well, and reinstall.

yep sometimes cleaning ur IACV doesn't do anything. the plunger on the inside is probably damaged. get a new one. also get another o2 sensor or fix that code too.

i test the IACV by adding 12V (+) and Ground (-) to it and it "click"...

this means that works or it can be damaged anyway?...

Make sure the IACV connector plug is right. People when pulling em off end up pulling the plug apart and pin it wrong. Can you take a pic of how you eliminated the fitv. I was having the same problems in the same car as your sig with my ls swap. My fitv plunger backed out and helped with bad idle. Bypassed my fitv also.

Take off ur complete throttle body, then unscrew the 3 (10mm) screws, then put something to eliminated the 1 or 2 holes where air is passed (i dont remember, only dont eliminated the holes where coolant passed)... then assembly again and u have eliminated the FITV :D

respect!...

Hmm wouldn't be adding to your idle problems? The coolant is what causing the fitv to open up and operate. So if you plugged the vac holes the coolant is still causing the fitv to work so it's not bypassed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah but the holes that use the FITV to operate are the air holes that do that the rpm up a lit bit when the engine is cold, while is getting warm it gonna be close...

if u eliminate the air holes he cant move the rpm cuz he doesnt have his air holes...

then if u eliminate the coolant hole of the FITV, the coolant cant pass to the IACV... then ur IACV cant be refreshed by the coolant... cuz u eliminated the pass of the coolant of the FITV...

i hope this help u... my english is a lil bad i think so hahaha...

respect!

oh i understand now... u put the coolant line of the FITV directly to de IACV...

i think is bad cuz the IACV get HOT coolant... with the FITV, it ride more and when the coolant reach IACV is a lil fresh...

good luck bro!...

Yes, even though u put power to the IACV and it clicks, it can STILL be damaged. The plunger may not close all the way. it can stick open. i bought another IACV locally for $10. good luck. post when u have fixed ur problems!
