There's a moonroof tool. It's kind of shaped like a Z.

Unfortunately for me... mine got stolen along with my tire change kit.

I'd give you more info on how to use it... but I can't go look to figure it out since those ******** stole parts they probably don't even know the use of.

I had this exact problem with my EJ1...This means that its time to get new sun roof motors. It sucks, I know...Close it with the key for now.

It could mean that or it could be as simple as a blown fuse.

I think you can use a allen key or a t-bit. My buddy had that happen. You'll need to pop off the little cap on the headliner between the sun visors to access the motor. Which is where the manual close thing is.

You mean the cover for the rearview mirror? I took mine off before and it's just fabric behind it.

Oh, and the motor is in the very back.

what car are we talking about? On my 92 Si the motor is in the front. And just like the guy said above, to manually close it you have to pop off the little cap and just use an allen key to move it, i dont have the tool either. To get the motor out you have to take the headliner partially off in the front. Is it making any noises at all? If not check the fuse, if its running you may need to tighten the nut under the cap where you manually close it. That increase/decreases the closing force.

Oh, I see the OP's name now, which points to him having a 5th gen and not a 6th gen. 6th gen motors are in the back.

People need to start saying which car they need help on. Too many threads never mention which gen since this section if for 5th and 6th gen.
