Default Was a sunroof an option on a 97 Civic LX???

I have a 1997 LX with a sunroof that I just got a couple of weeks ago.... based on the research I am doing, it looks as if the sunroof only came with the EX... so that would probably mean that I have an aftermarket roof...

Just curious!!!

I just bought a 97 4dr LX with a very stock looking sunroof. My guess is it was available that year.

According to the EPC, no.

I'd be interested to see both of these roofs. I have an EX coupe with a stock roof and it's very different in design than most aftermarket roofs.

EDIT:
Here are the pages in the EPC where the moonroof parts are listed. These are found under the '97 EX sedan listing, but are not found under the '97 LX sedan listing.

LOL you sig-ed it! LX is pretty close to an EX except for the engine being the main difference. LX is like a DX but not like a CX which is not a HX but is a GX which is not an SI and rare but is like EX (the SI). So they almost all end in X's. poop

Your post doesn't make sense either.

An LX sedan is between a DX sedan and an EX sedan. A GX sedan is a factory modified LX sedan. A CX hatch is a DX hatch with fewer trimmings. An HX coupe is between an EX coupe and a DX coupe, and has a VTEC-E engine. And an Si coupe is basically a factory modified EX coupe.

Well, I've made a full chart to show the differences in all the coupes and all the hatches. I'm working on the sedans and then I will make a thread listing all the differences between each trim. Then you can see it all compiled neatly and it might make better sense.
