Sunroof...
Has anyone had a sunroof put in on their car if they didn't allready have one, that is powered, not pop-up? Cause i got this really ****** annoying rattle that i don't know how to fix. With any amount of bass, it rattles uncontrollably. Anyone fixed a sunroof rattle like this? If so, how? Thanks.

well, the rattle is in the sunroof where the upholstry(spelling) and the metal casing for the sunroof meet. I've tried putting clamps across it, but doesn't help and if i hold my hand up and press on it, it goes away. I would put dynamat in it but my electronic crap is up in there and dynamat is sticky...

Not too farmiliar with what you are trying to fix *no sunroof* but try running a small bead of silicone around the outisde to keep it in place. Could fix the rattle, or even try getting a little rubber boot type thing for the edge of it.

I think the A pillar and whatever else covers the edges has to come off.

to correctly get the upholstry down, you have to remove all the panels (pull on them)...including the back seats to remove the rear's
I'll have to do this soon when i replace my moonroof cables
Its long and very time consuming...just go at it...thats all I can tell you
