hmm that could be a possibility too, i also might try to mount it on one the squares where a button or switch should go and run the wire behind there.

mount it where that good-for-nothing cup holder is. just rip the guts of the cupholder out

YALL KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT! the cupholder in an eg isn't worth the plastic its made from.

im actually getting an older vafc and was looking to put it in my jdm center console. Ive seen plastic pieces (so the vafc would only take up 1 tray space) and it looks really clean I just dont know where people get the pieces from. I was actually going to post a thread asking, but this thread was 2 birds with one stone. Any ideas?

i would install it in the center console. i know it may sound stupid, but right between the shifter and your ebrake handle theres enough space tof lush mount the vtec controller. cut a rectangular hole in the console, and use a couple brackets and allen bolts to secure it. that way it looks clean (flush with somethign), cops wont see it, its out of the way, and easy easy easy to get to...

thats how i would do it.
