Default suggestions on small claims court???

as some of you know, a guy made an agreement to buy my car, he borrowed it to take some pictures of it, then "someone w/o insurance backed into him in a parking lot" which he got no information from cough:bullshit:cough, and he was driving it without insurance himself, than backed out of the deal, due to "financal" problems, ive been trying to resolve this for 4 months and ive finally decided to take him to small claims court, i got an est. of 1774.02, thats not including the money and time ive put into fixing it to drivable aready. all my roomates know the situation and have happily agreeded to testify if needed.do you have any suggestions as to steps to take as far as the court proceedings?

Considering you consented to letting him take the car out for "pictures." I wonder if you might lose? Just has as much proof as possible to what he said and what he alledgedly did. My buddy went through some **** with Zeibart and came out good, he just had proof and documentation of the situation. good luck man.
