SUGGESTIONS FOR EXAUST?
what do you think? is it better to buy the whole exaust system or just buy the muffler and take it to someone to run custom piping??

I would see what you can get for cheaper. If they can custom make you one and it is cheaper then buying the whole system then go that route. Or vice-versa

your right make sure its mandrel bent get it with the least amount of bends posible, make sure you get the right size piping, make sure the guy you take it to knows what he's doing, and has worked w/ lowered imports before, if they quote over 400 go some where else, a good custom exhaust can be had for 150 or less, hope thet helps

your right make sure its mandrel bent get it with the least amount of bends posible, make sure you get the right size piping, make sure the guy you take it to knows what he's doing, and has worked w/ lowered imports before, if they quote over 400 go some where else, a good custom exhaust can be had for 150 or less, hope thet helps

Yep that was the first issue I had in mind. Also you sacrifice sound most times when you go with a custom exhaust.
If your a baby like me and buy an apex-i ws exhaust then you know what I am talking about.
However, I would not change this exhaust for the world. After I exceed 3,000 rpms, the sound from the exhaust is not heard anymore, but instead I hear the motor building up. It is so damn quite and when you get on it, you never here the exhaust, just the sound of vtec at crossover
However, the only concern I have ever had with the exhaust is possible loss in horsepower due to the canister shape.
