Suggestions on build direction....
Here's the deal, i've been an all-motor guy for as long as i can remember--but after i wrecked my integra i bought a gti 1.8t (needed to share car with my sister, and she's not too fond hondas) After driving the gti for a while i realised what the big fuss over turbos was, and needless to say--i was hooked. Now my sister's moving up north and im going to end up giving her the gti and letting her take over the expenses, mainly because im sick of paying for full insurance on a new car (poor driving record).
My next car is going to be a 92-95 hatch and i was wondering which direction you guys recommend i take...keep in mind, i dont want to invest too much into the engine, this car's mainly going to be a daily driver other than some weekend canyon runs and trips to the local drag strip...
Here are my options as far as the engine goes:
1) jdm b18c1
2) b18b1 swap
Im kind of leaning toward the later because with the money i can save on swapping hte car with an ls as opposed to a gsr engine, i can throw in a few more duckets and boost it at a mild psi.
...Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially from those who've had experienced with these set-up...and if you can throw in a few plugs as far as suspension set-ups goes, that would be awesome--as of now im leaning toward a tein super street set-up with a few bars from password.

if you want boost, but not the money for the gsr, do the ls, and a kit. it will cost you a little more than the gsr, but deffinetly worth it in the long run. if you just want a good swap, do the gsr.

b18c1 for sho... vtec is fun to drive around.. plus you have reliablility with it.. if you turbo the ls you have to worry about so many different factors... if it were my choice i would go gsr with some mild bolt ons and a tune..
