I got a 96 civic hatch/b16a1 motor

I plan on doin a oil change tommorow, first one since buying it second hand!

I dunno what oil to use? I was thinking of buying the red line product line!!!!

Do red line products perform well>? as compared to say mobil 1 or castrol gtx?

Cuz i want to get redline motor oil, redline wetter!

I have a question bout the redline manual transmission gear oil thingy, is that product similar to a gm synchromesh? penzoil synchromesh? or is it a whole different product? do i just add it straight to my oil?

thxs any info is helpful, sorry for too much questions, NOOBIE in the house!

I suggest you use some Honda oil.

I would use Mobil 1 or Castol Syntech in your motor

and royal purple in your tranny.

Although, I use synchromesh in my tranny, cheaper and more readily available.

very true. I was watchin hp tv, and they switched all the fluids to royal purple in a 99 camaro ss, and made like 12 hp from it on the dyno....
