Suede = my Del Sol's new friend *pics*
So, I picked up a few yards of faux suede and had some free time. I must say, I am in love with the results.
Door panel upper (and my homemade carbon fiber insert)
Rear storage, and the entire rear upper trim
Gauge cluster trim. Now to just replace the buttons up here and get some new gauges, and I think I will be set with the cluster.
I was thinking of something like these. Anyone have em?
Alright... that is all for now.

the suede stuff looks good, but if you put in those gauges, you will hate yourself. I took a set out that were installed on my third sol when I bought it. Damn faces were warped so the needles got caught on them. Not worth the time or effort. Search around and look for the chrome rings that people put around the gauges. They look great in a sol cluster.

Thanks, good to know. I think I will at least have to change out the bulbs behind the cluster for some brighter LEDs or something though. I have an SC400 and the BRIGHT cluster lighting has spoiled me, I guess.

yeah, looks great..dont go with the gauges man. i bought those ***** once for my sedan. dumbest thing i ever bought probably. they come with some stupid little button pad that turns them on and off. so heh, you turn on your lights and they dont come on. tried to wire it somehow so they come on with the parking lights, but no luck. i left em on a for a little bit, but i hated having to turn them on when i turned on my lights or when it got dark :/ they lasted about four months and the fuse blew out from the gauges, i knew it was gonna happen cuz they started dimming on their own and crap. w/e lol sorry for the long story, but point is, dont buy that stuff, they suck in the end. i switched to leds and i couldnt be happier with the gauge lighting

Cool, thanks for the tip. I think I will be getting some bright LEDs from Autolumination or something soon.

Hey nice job on the suede indeed. I had those gauges in my 97 Sol and had no problems with them at all. just my 2 cents.

He appears to have USDM Integra Type R seats.
