sudden battery dying problem in EG
After seaching why my clock & radio wouldnt keep memory, I recently found out a couple weeks ago that my "back up" fuse in the engine compartment fuse box was blown. I replaced it & ever since, my battery has died. Is there anyway to fix this problem. I'm not sure why or where power is being drawn from to drain the battery.
Please help, I've replaced the battery once & dont want to do it again.
Thanks

Re: sudden battery dying problem in EG (jDmImagE)
Alternator has been checked & is fully fuctional. The problem didn't start until I replace the back up fuse under the hood. I'm not sure if there is a way to correct this problem----I hate not having a clock on my dash
thanks for the suggestion though

Re: sudden battery dying problem in EG (ShowTymers619)
just replaced the battery (which was new in 99) this past Wednesday. I have a feeling someone who had the car before me messed with all the wiring. I pulled the fuse & will see if that worked. I'd hate to have all new wiring put in the car.....
thanks
