this sucks
hi. i've been browsing for 2 weeks for a 92-95 civic of any kind. haven't found 1 that is in "decent" shape. any advice on another car? i have a 2000 gsr motor waiting, with no car to put it in. hm...

Keep looking, or settle for something a bit more rough. Sorry, but thats about all you can do. Ever consider something newer 96-00 or older 88-91? It's pretty tough to find pristine Civics pre-96, here in the land of snow, salt and rust, so I feel your pain.

If you buy something that you aernt fully satisfied with, you are going to kick yourself in the *** everytime you look at it.

in the bay area.. we have a site called craigslist.org that sells cars.. theres 92-95 civic/hatchbacks and any other kind of car you might be considering for cheap.. might have high miles but im assuming that shouldnt be a problem since you have a gsr motor already.. so look at a few cars over there if you dont mind with transferring the car to you somehow...

Patience is a virtue... Trust me, and keep looking... If you give up, and buy something else, you'll regret it in the long run.. Good luck

Yup, they have craigslist.org for many different cities actually, not just the bay area. They have listings for all sorts of cool junk too. I have been contemplating the purchase of a 29 gallon fish tank complete with filters and other maintainance items, and fully stocked with fish....craigslist rules.
