I have to replace my subframe in a 98dx hatch due to rust. Car came with factory power steering and air conditioning. I have a 99ex parts car and I was wondering if the subframe will work and what master bushing kit I will have to use as I noticed they list a 96-98 and a 99-00. Any help is appreciated and I thank you in advanced.

it will work fine.
bushing kit refers to what year control arms you have.
you can also fit an EG subframe in most do with kswaps (use eg control arms)

all 96-00 subframes are the same, if you use the subframe and control arms from the 99, get a kit for 99-00.

The 96-00 Civic EXs all have the same control arms, no idea why its listing two different years.

The bushing kit MIGHT be thinking specifically for the 99-00 Civic Si. The Si model uses an LCA like the CTR. Its a stamped piece with a wider bushing for the shock fork AND the back bushing (the one that bolts in/on) is firmer. That back bushing is interchangable to all 96-00 models tho.

^yes. The only different bushings are 99-00 Si.

Don't use poly bushings though.
