I am doing a auto to manual swap on a D17 civic. The front engine mount from a manual that should work will not. I looked up the part # and the subframe it is different. I figured my friend who welds could just move bracket on the subframe over so it fits then I looked at the price of a manual subframe vs a auto subframe and there is a $200 price difference. Why would this be what could be $200 different. Does anyone have any ideas?? Should I just fabricate my sub frame to work or is it more than just the bracket location??? PLEASE HELP
