Default Stuttering gayness and other problems

Well I posted about a month ago about this. I am getting stuttering at idle like a steady idle...then....a low pop...and back to idle (over and over again). I have a '93 civic DX with NOTHING done to the motor (and don't plan to...motor swaps are my friend). I just want this thing to last a few more months. If you need more details just ask...don't flame. It also KINDA does it on 1st gear take-off. Someone told me it might be the coil in the distributor. I do not blow any oil (NONE OK>>>NONE). This motor is rare in that it does not suck oil and it still gets like 34 mpg. Thanks for any help

...also what is the easiest way to get the stock gauge cluster bulbs to be amber. I tried painting them and they started smoking

Idle air control valve bight be to dirty to allow the right amount of air throught to keep your idle at a constant speed. When your idle goes down the ECU will eventualy sense it and allow more air throught hence the bump and back to low again. Check and clean the IAC valve with degreaser. Also you can play with the screw on the t-body and adjust the idle speed which should help too.

Sounds a little risky to be playing with the idle screw...But I will check out that PCV valve. Wait a sec. you mean one of the sensors connected to the throttle body? I just cleaned that out and it still does it.
