Stutter Box on throttle...
Well as the topic states I was just wondering if I could get some input on the all infamous stutter box... Some say its great for consistant launches an less stress on the engine due to rippin it off the line an such.. I've searched an searched, an found like 2 things, 1 that its good for launching in races, an 2 there are no write ups on DIY for this, when in fact i've heard plenty before about people making their own... Input please, thanx guys... "And some chicks" ;-)

Hondas call Stutter box 2 step and it could only be done in the computer. Works great for launches (when done right) but like all cars it puts alot of stress on it. If you dont want to chip your ecu you could also get MSD for the 2 step.

I cant find the MSD ignition kit for single cams... With the stutter box, ignition, external coil, cap, rotor, ect.... I can find just the coil cap an rotor but not all together as a kit with stutter box... I have no problem w/ chipping my ecu but would I have to chip it with a program that has the stutter box in it or do i have to mess with receptors an stuff in the actual ECU..?
