well if your question was clearly stated, maybe you would get better replies.

And quit trying to up your post count. You responded 4 times in a row, when you could have edited, quoting the same reply twice

No wonder you're at 96%

EDIT - You quoted the same reply THREE times....

Honda put the crossover point there for a reason, It's not just a random number. Stock is always the best. There's been debate over this number before. I wouldn't lower it too much, I wouldn't go below 4900 personally.

Not to start an argument, but, on my HX the VTEC engagment is around 4,500 and redline is at 6,800.

Many people feel that the only way to change the vtec point of engagment is if you have serious modifications done to your car and your fuel/air ratio is significantly different. Honda techs. spent many hours figuring that out and it shouldn't be messed with unless you have access to a dyno and you can figure it out from there. I've heard everything from "VTEC controllers didn't help my car at all" to "my vtec controller took a second off my 1/4 mile time."

Your choice. Dyno and tune. Tuners these days have forgetten the critical nature of tuning.

dyno sounds good

but also, keep in mind that the vtec crossover should be reasonable, with correct oil pressure, and enough fuel too
