stupid question but haha...i need to verify it...
...oil is leaking from between the head and the block. back a while ago i did a compression test and the number 1 cylinder has a lower compression than all the other cylinders...but there is no oil mixed with the coolant in the resevoir...is it a blown head gasket?

A lot of times it's just a bad valve cover gasket or cam/distributor seal, it lets oil run down the head and it pools upon the ledge between the head and the block, looking just like it's leaking out around the head. What were the compression numbers?

This was the problem with my '87 Accord. Replacing the valve cover gasket fixed everything.

compression was done a bout 2 years ago. i think i got 160 to 175 and then like 130 in cylinder 1. something is definetly wrong there. the motor has 270k on it...btw...i dont know if thats original motor.
