stupid question
hey im new to honda cars , or any cars for that matter, have had several motorcycles. matter of fact just got busted up REAL bad on an f4 so decided to get into cars. just got 96 civic ex coupe. enough of that but what is ment by 1st 2nd.....generatios. also wondered what the letters/numbers of motors means, like B16A, B20B. this maybe to much to ask so maybe somekind soul could point me in the right direction. i love my civic like i never belived i could something with 4 wheels. thanks much

it s nice you love your honda...tip: to get the best out of this mb use the search button...go to search and type b16a and 1000+ articles will appear
the first letter stands for the motor series,,,the numbers stand for the motor litrege and the last letter stands for the motor trim eg. b16a vs b16b or b18b vs b18c
