Default Stupid Mother F***** IACV

My IACV is bad, I'm in the process of buying a used one but I need a temp fix because it's killing my low speed drivability. I thought you could just block the IACV from the Intake manifold which i did with several layer's of aluminum foil but its still doing it. I thought the bottom hole in the TB was going directly through the IACV then back in to the Intake but I'm obviously wrong.. What do I have to block in order to get it to idle normal for week or so.

did u just put the engine together? IACV usually dont go bad. it could be a vacumm leak somewhere that is causing it to idle up and down

well i got it figured out....I just taped the whole in the TB for now until I get my new IACV. And IACV are a pretty common thing to go out on the 92-95's it seems.
