Struts/Springs: QuickStrut or Rebuild?
Hey guys,
Im rebuilding my front end of a 99 civic ex; it has 177K miles and its in need of a rebuild (bushings, tierods, ball joints...etc). What I am wondering is about the struts: should I get those QuickStruts where everything is already built into it or should I use my spring, bushing kit, new strut and rebuild it myself? This is the first suspension work I have done so im not sure if I can use the factory spring or not. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Showa. You can only buy them through Honda, believe me I've tried to buy them any other way. They're shocks btw, not struts.
For the shocks? Not usually. Tokico comes with new bushings for the top mount when you buy new shocks, not sure about KYB, if you buy a new shock from Honda they're separate, you may want to order new bump stops though.
