Default Struts Interchangeable?

Are struts intechangeable from left to right, or does the strut on the left side have to STAY on the left side, because I believe the SPRINGS will work on both sides, right?? We're talking about the stockers here.

Struts are interchangeable from side to side.

rears are, fronts aren't

There's a notch on the shock body in the fronts where the pinch fork must slip around.

I assembled the struts to fit on their respective sides, but later found that i had used the wrong side shocks, but the notches and the shock tower do line up. Is this ok?

The fronts are interchangeable. The only problem is that the brake line mounting points are backwards. This is easily fixed by removing the alignment/brake line holder with a hammer. Just tap it off the end of the shock. A few taps should do it. If you look at this collar on the end of the shock, you will see that it can come off. Best of luck with it.
Oh, on the back, make sure that the nut (welded to the shock) faces toward the front after installation.

Good luck.
