strut tower plugs not matching
So I got my swap in today and ran into issues getting it all plugged in ...done some reading and asked a few people and they have all said what I already thought which is it should be plug and play.. My car is a 95 DX Civic coupe and the swap is a 95 obd1 B18b1
so here is the problem most of the main plugs at the shock towers are fine except 1 on passenger side the plug on the chassis is a 4 pin the plug on the swap is a 6 we didn't have this problem when it was in a previous car a 95 Civic ex coupe
any input would be greatly appreciated

Re: strut tower plugs not matching
Picture might be helpful.
Is the plug itself matching but only has 4 wires in it instead of the usual 6?
I know the tower plugs differ in what wires are in them if the car was a firewall mounted MAP sensor versus the throttle body mounted map sensor.
Only reason I know is comparing mine (TB mounted) and my wife's eh2 (firewall mounted).

Re: strut tower plugs not matching
Pink is definitely not stock.
However I see another plug in the pink with a white end with what looks like some wire terminate plugs in the harnes side of the plug.
It almost looks like it might be a firewall mounted map sensor type harness. I'll have to take a closer look at my wifes to find where the wires deviated from the normal path to the shock tower to run to the map sensor.
Maybe get to do that this weekend.

Re: strut tower plugs not matching
was the donor harness a manual? and was yours originally a manual?
if you had a harness for an automatic, it would explain some things and clearly not much in there is OEM which doesn't help you (or us) much
do the wire colors in the 4-pin connector, match-up to 4 of the wire colors in the 6-pin connector? or are both sides just totally different?
