Price shouldn't be the deciding factor. A fixed, rigid strut bar does better than the cheapo ones that have an adjustable hinge. Those flex too much. Alas, the hinged ones are better than nothing.
The fixed strut bars that are specifically designed for you model car provide a more rigid structure. They costs a bunch more, but worth it.
The name of the game is that they provide a more rigid body, less flex, and more control from a suspension/handling perspective.

I heard somewhere that the rear strut bars dont really do much for civics. I'm not sure how true that is but my front strut bar does wonders to my car. Dont get the adjustable ones, as everyone else said it flexes. But if you dont want to spend the high prices then get one it's better than nothing
