Is buying the Crower Stroker kit worth it?

You would be better off resleaving your block to 85mm, and maybe even doing that along with a b18c block.

Used to have a 1.9 B16 that we created out of an LS crank, B16 rods, custom pistons, it was a blast, 185hp 132 tq at the wheels, bolt ons, until I dropped a valve, damn

What were the specs on those custom pistons... In fact, I would be interested in the specs of the set up if you know them!

you cant use an ls crank in a b16 block and use b16 rods. no wonder you drops a valve. the pistons would go right into the head. you need custom rods that would be extremely short. now thats a bad rod stroke ratio.

for what u would pay for that you might as well just buy a ITR block and make it 1.8

the stroker kit would make more power though. actually, it would be the same as adding an ls crank and custom rods. both are 89mm stroke so they both have horrendous r/s ratios. screw that. just get the itr block like stated above.

Why not make a beast and buy the kit and resleeve it to 85mm! That would be crazy! And crazy expensive, but if you got the funds, go for it! That would be a crazy 1.6!
