Stripped adjustment nut SPC upper control arm HELP
Yeah, so I have the SPC upper control arms for my 99 civic.
Installed passenger no problem, though I noticed the metal on the nut wasn't the strongest, especially for something that is supposed to be torqued to 120 ft lbs
It went on fine though. Correct spec with tq wrench.
Driver's side, no such luck. Even before i got remotely close to what I would guess is around 80ft lbs (know from changing tires) It stripped that huge nut on top. The one that adjusts the caster and camber...
Can this be bought? I will likely return it to the store I got it, and hope for an even exchange, but I cannot find any info on getting new nuts. I want to have a pair for future issues if there are any.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you.
