does this happen to a lot of ppl. i want to fix it, ive tryed cutting it with a razor but it didn't help it look anybetter.. how expensive are new weather strips for the windows?

i got a 93 civic and they were about 60 bucks a piece. it makes a huge difference when u get new ones. well worth it its like gettin new rims, but cheaper

take it out. sand it down. paint it black or use the truck bed liner paint.

that way is even cheaper, thats what i did with those cheap *** wiper arms

thanks for the info . the paint on my wiper arms is fading also i might just sand and paint them.. how do you remove the strips? just take the door panel off?

you can either take it off or leave it on and just mask everything off. there are clips on the underside of the door panel and you just take those off and slide it out. (if its the same as a ek)

u have to undo the side mirror but take it off if ur going to spray it why rick overspray for an extra 10 minutes of easy work.

take it off, razor anything u can off, sand the rest then use either spray on trunk liner or just black paint. make sure to let em dry then install em back on

Take them off, spray some air craft stripper onto it, sand it, primer it, and paint it flat black.
