Street tire Suspension Setup
I want to run 10sec on street tires with my eg. The quickest run Ive had has been 11.98@121 mph (1.98 60ft) with Bfgood's(205/50/15) and tokico illum/eibach prokit spings. I have recently upgraded the engine and tire size to (225/50/15). I would like to lower my 60ft time so any advice to upgrade my suspension setup or any other area on the car to lower my 60ft time is welcome.

Look at some drag radials.. They're DOT so you can put em on at home and drive to the track if you're that bold..
The only thing that can lower your 60ft if you run 11's is TRACTION, TRACTION, TRACTION!
I've also heard if you jack the rear of the car up a little higher than the front it reduces the amount of weight transfer to the rear when you launch.. Don't know how well it works yet, I haven't tried it yet. but then again, I'm not running 11's either.. I also remember seeing a bolt in aluminum spacer for the front LCA's that goes between the rear lower control arm bushing (The one almost under your foot) and the body.. They say it's supposed to plant the tires by pushing them into the ground as opposed to allowing the forward force on the LCA compress the suspension thus losing traction.

Define "street tires"....
Our local tuning pro has a CRX SI with full interior and cage that ran a 10.82 personal best his last time up to the track. It's a B16A with a T3/60-1 hybrid turbo at 28 psi. His last dyno sheet I saw was 419whp.
He ran his best on DOT drag radials, and credits his run to a sticky track. A couple nights before, they had a big drag event which laid down alot of sticky rubber on the track. It was hot that day and then cooled at night, but the track was still warm to the touch while the engines got cold air to swallow. I guess several people ran new fast times.

Thanks guys for your info... So far I have upgraded my tires(225/50/15 bfg drag radials) and installed a traction bar upfront. This week I installed 1000cc inj so If everything goes well Ill be hitting the dyno tomorrow or next week. I expect about 475hp+. Im going to need all the help to transfer power to the ground on street drag radials so I was reading on the Omnipower drag shocks and saw that they are sold in Front and rear sets on there website but option to just buy the rears on other sites. Is it nec. to buy the fronts to get them working or will the rears do just fine? Are there other shocks that give better 60ft time.

ok so i have been tryin to get into suspension as well and i was reading "Honda Builders Handbook II" by joe pettitt, and in the suspension section he says " Following the logic of this equation (there math involved lol) it seems obvious that raising the rear of the car and making it stiffer offers little if any improvement. In fact if it does improve acceleration at the start, its probably barley measurable and because raising the rear causes aero drag, the technique seems a net looser" it also mentions you change the position of the cg, its in poor geometry and roll steere can be severe ... im not here claiming i know anything, i just want to put this out and see what yall think

So lets see... I already have drag radials, traction bars and some stiffer motor mounts are on the way to minimize engine movement on the launch. Taking in consideration the drag that can cause lifting the car Im only missing some stiff rear shocks, set to the original height and locate all the excess weight over the front tires to help make them stick... I was also thinking on the need to get wider wheels (8 - 9 in) to fit the tire flatter on the pavement... I guess if I can control the power on launch I should lower my 60ft time signif.

Yeah, weight transfer works against you with a FWD car, assuming you have enough horsepower to run 10's.
Things that will help the most:
1) shift as much weight as possible lower and forward
2) reduce weight
3) use a wheelie bar and soft rear springs
4) get good, adjustable dampers
5) good tires (I'm sorry to say, but that means slicks)

Hey thanks guys for your info... I got a set of sk2 coilovers im going to try out to lower my 60ft times transfer all the weight I can to the front and still deciding between the eboost or the innovative boost controller...
