Strange vibrating noise at half clutch before moving off
Out of a sudden, my 6th gen civic started having this vibrating noise when I ride the clutch(half clutch) before moving off. Popped the hood today and realized that one of my gearbox bolts(to attach the GB to block) specifically the one under the VTEC solenoid was missing. Could one missing bolt cause such an issue? Been having a bad throw out bearing for a year but have not replaced it. Could that bearing be so badly worn that its causing this noise now? The bolt is shown in the attached picture as "E-6". Anyone knows the Honda Part Number for this bolt?

Re: Strange vibrating noise at half clutch before moving off
I started to isolate the occurence of the noise and it happens whenever I gas the pedal especially at very low speeds. This is with the clutch fully engaged. So the missing bolt is not an issue? How do I get the Honda part number for this bolt?

If you hear transmission noise with the clutch fully engaged and the noise goes away with the clutch pedal depressed, then the ISB (part #4) may be bad.

I have experienced what you have mentioned, but it's always resolved with a change of the clutch throw out bearing. This time round its another noise. But its either masked or resolved now since I put in some innovative mounts. There is so much other noise now that probably I can't hear the initiate problem. Or it could have been the mounts.
