strange rpm issue after a long drive....
if I've been driving for say over 45 mins... something strange happens
whenever i'm in second and let off the throttle and push in the clutch, my rpms stay at 1500 rpm....
it only goes away if i give it gas and quickly let off the pedall
could my butterfly be sticking open for some reason'?

Are you at a stop when you put in the clutch and it stays at 1500? Cause its normal if your driving and hold the clutch in that it will stay at about 1500 so when you go into a gear its not as much damage on the motor to reach up high again.

Try adjusting the thottle cable. I made mine tighter to remove slack and the same thing happens. It only happens when im driving in hot weather, not on cold nights.
