strange problem with my clutch.

strange problem with my clutch.
I recently installed a 6 puck on my daily at first it didn`t want to go into gear
with the pedal on the floor but if I lift it like an inch or two it finally disengages. and after one drive the throw out bearing started its all to familiar grind.
This is very odd to me since I have done my own clutches a million times so no I didn`t put the clutch on backwards the fork is on correctly and so is the bearing.
I replaced the master cylinder, and slave nothing changed except now I had to re position the predal almost to the floor for it to even move the slave, and bled it till I got nothing but fluid then bled it some more.

Re: strange problem with my clutch.
Use a new bearing or reuse the old one? IV had to convince some cheap peoples that its better off replaced than being mad at me and paying for a clutch job all over again because the bearing was bad.
I guess what I mean is did you use a whole clutch kit or what?

Also the clutch does not feel stiff.. for a six puck its about 4 inches from the floor and if its pressed to the floor it wont disengage.if its right inbetween it will.

Most likely a master cylinder being over adjusted. I'm guessing you have no freeplay at the top of the pedal travel? Dial back the master cylinder push rod so you have about 1/2" - 1" freeplay at the top of the pedal.
Edit: why are you subjecting yourself to the punishment of a puck clutch on your DD??
