Default Strange noise from alternator area

hi. i am running a manual 95 civic coupe with a d16a vtec sohc engine (d16a not d16a7 or anything after "a" its similar to ZC i guess). a few days ago i was on a track and we did some drag runs with my friends not doing this too often maybe once in a year. so i got my rpm to 6.5 a few times that day. the day after i noticed some strange noise from a timing area i was thinking its a PS pump so i disconnected it (the belt) but the noise is still there its hard to say where it comes exactly from. please help. thanks
there is a video of the sound. i hope this will help with the diagnosis.

Remove your alternator belt. Make sure you have a friend with you, with jumper cables. Start your car. Does the noise go away? If it does, you have a hosed alternator bearing.

If it doesn't, remove your upper timing cover. That sounds to me like the toothed rubber of a timing belt sliding on the plastic of a timing cover.

You may take your alternator for repair... the outcome is severely dependent upon the quality of the parts replaced and how well the shop fixes the alternator. Personally, I'd suggest finding another OEM alternator to replace the one you have in the car currently.
