Strange coolant Problem

Strange coolant Problem
I have a stock 95 Honda civic ex. Has 150000 Last year my car was not showing that It was heating up even tho hot air was coming out of my heat. So I replaced the temp sensor, which then showed the car was starting to over heat so I replaced the thermostat, the other temp sensor and the fan switch, since the fan was not coming on. So I tested the fan relay and the motor by bypassing the switch and I heard the relay click and the fan came on. So I replaced the thermostat again. Flushed my coolant, bleed the system on jacks. Ect ect. So the problem went away for 4 months. Now It has come back. I noticed that it only over heats when I drive in 1st/2nd gear lets say if I am sitting in traffic, so I still think the fan is not coming on.
Any thoughts/ideas/comments on what I should do next?
Could it be my water pump? It was replaced at 90000.

Re: Strange coolant Problem
Let it sit and idle. Once it gets to operating temp the fan should come on. If it doesn't, check to make sure the fan is still good. If it is, start looking for bad wires/connectors.
Also, see if it's throwing any codes: http://check-engine-light-codes.blog...retrieval.html

Re: Strange coolant Problem
Slow speed/low airflow would point towards fan or waterpump flow. Could be clogged radiator but that usually shows up at higher speeds. Radiators are cheap (~$70 at radiatorbarn.com).
In my experience once these motors overheat - even a little - you are in for some misery.
