Default Stolen w/ all security equipment?

sup,
everday i find a post in this area that someones **** got stolen by damn thieves. Question is.....most of these people always say "sadly i didnt have an alarm" and " i didnt have a kill switch" etc....which one of u guys actually had a friend or even your own vechile stolen w/ all the good alarms w/ black jax, low jack and kill switches? i belive if i have good security, i wont need to worry. thanks

In theory you're right but towing a car away bypasses most security features. There's one guy on the Type R forum here that lost his car and he had like 5 kill switches and an alarm etc...he figures they just towed it away.

what if he had a tilt sensor....and not forgetting to mention a back up battery to back up all this.....

Cut the wire to the alarm horn. Unless you have a backup it just looks like hazards are on. Then they could just tow it.

if someone has a tilt sensor, they better at LEAST have a self contained siren so if the wires are cut it will continue to go off.

short answer: there is no way to stop a thief from getting your car. only slow them down.

Most tilt sensor will not go off if the vehicle is lifted properly as if it was going on a tow truck.
