Wow. Just wow.

I did a google search for '99 civic stolen' to see how many hits I'd be able to pull up for my car, and stumbled upon this..

My milano red '99 civic was stolen back in early March (it was an almost stock EX though). Of course in NJ. And, being the lucky guy I am, I had no theft insurance and never recovered ANYTHING (no shell, etc)..

Anyway, good luck finding it man. I rarely see any EK's anymore, ESPECIALLY coupes and hatches, and this is the reason why.

WOWWW damn another one of our EM1s gone...i know your pain but at a damn wedding. My sorrows for a fellow EM1 owner and same setup on my car Type R seats!

In reality this **** is a fear of mine everyday and night. I live in a much nicer neighborhood I have ever lived in. I was living in PG for 2 weeks with my EM1 and I did like 5 hours of anti theft to my car to come find my window pried the [freak] open molding on the window all messed up and the trim piece broken side mirror broken. They couldn't open my doors so they tried [freak]ing with the lock through the window.

Again I hope you find your **** ASAP!

****, went there in a friend's EJ8 to visit g/f's parents.

Car was gone the next day.

I [freak]ing hate jersey.

I'm surprised there's any EM1's left there, I'd have thought they'd all be stolen and stripped by now.

o ya they towed your car away! those boots arent anything to a tow truck....
hope you had insurance on it!

i have 2 security things on my beater civic, one fuel pump cutoff and full coverage insurance. one protects from smash and busters, and the other one prevents the experienced/pro thief.

good luck on recovery.

Have you ever dealt with an insurance company for theft? It is not so cut and dry. Even if they do end up sending you a check for the loss, it won't be for the amount that it should be, especially with the mods well all do to our vehicles.
