Stock Piping diameter *searched*
Hey guys,
I was wondering what the Inside diameter AND the outside diameter is on a 93 civic hatchback? A piece of my pipe rusted out and I just wanna replace it real quick until I can save for a full catback.
Thanks,
Dyz

i think the stock piping is about 1 inch inner diameter and it doesnt matter how big the pip u get is as long as u can weld it on it wont be seen especially if it isnt permenant. best thing to do is to cut a piece of the stock pipe go to homedepot measure and buy what u need dude... laters good luck i have the same car.. damn thing..

Muffler tape wont seal this job.
Basically, you have your cat, a flange, another flange..then your B-pipe.
What happened was the 2 flanges rusted together(with bolts) and the midpipe thatwas attached to the flange is now unattached and there is a good 1.5" of "space" between the flange and the midpipe.
My plan is to cut off the flange on the cat. Then get a piece of tube from the local canadian tire. Stick it on both ends and use exhaust clamps. It'll be a cheap 10$ fix until i can afford a true catback.
