well...i took my car in yesterday to get it checked out. everything feels rough in the car and it's driving horribly. my mechanic thinks it's my 5Zigen Fireball style muffler. it was put on horribly i guess and now, it's rusted through (i've had it 7 months!). anyway...he said he wants to replace the muffler and piping with stock equipment. he's going to charge me $250. is this a good deal? how much would a stock muffler for a 1994 del Sol cost?

The actual muffler should be fine. Go to mineke or ur local muffler shop and tell them to put in new piping. Should be more than 100 bucks(at the most).
