stock intake or aem short ram intake?

Default stock intake or aem short ram intake?

ok i was thinking of keeping my stock ex intake and put a k&n filter plus doing this.

buy a cheap ebay intake for just there piping plus i like the stock looking.

or just buy the short ram aem with filter for 50buck tomorrow?

just keep the stock intake and put in a new filter....no need for the aem short ram

Yeah stock intake FTW! I don't like the noise of intakes and if you're auto, you'll notice a loss of torque.

any1 know a good website or a place in houston i could get K&N air filter for a good price?

because vatozone, orially are selling them for 50 so as K&N website that is kinda pricy for me.

k&n's are expensive. but isnt the stock airbox restrictive? more restrictive then a pipe with a filter?

an aftermarket intake only nets u like 1 more hp over a stock airbox with k&n drop in.. plus u dont get hasseled by the cops carb legal or not.

you can cut up your airbox and resonator to make a ghetto arc intake.

i guess i dont gotta deal with the carb legal stuff, anything goes here. i just think a polished shortram looks 'cleaner' then the stock ugly airbox. but i guess learn somethin everytime i come on this sight.

Dayum, K&N Intake Filters are pricey I have a brand new universal cone filter layin around, maybe I should just get an ebay intake arm

dang
i had a ebay short ram intake but i threw it away because my motor keep getting lag by hot air in the engine bay.

so no one know a good website for k and n filter that is cheap

oh i don't have resonator because i just did the y7 to y8 manifold swap.

Not everyone has to deal with that outside of CARBifornia. Hell, I can i can hook up a fuel line to my exhaust with a spark plug down stream of it no big deal.

its around $200-300 bucks with pipe, box and sensor I THINK.. dont quote me on that. haha
