stock headlight Q
I've been working on a civic that was wrecked in the front pretty badly. I had to bend the new radiator support some in order to weld it on in the right spots. after installing the headlights i notice they aren't level, i worked with them for like 2 hours and i can't get them straight. there is an adjustment on the back, i turned it and turned it doesnt seem to make a difference. The lights are pointing straight ahead, but ones too high and the other is too low. can i adjust the hieght without moving the light housing? and what do the adjustments on the back do? I saw there is an inner-housing, how do i adjust that?

Add some washer on the lower headlight until it is near or level with the other headlight.

so in other words there is no adj. I figured that since there is a level inside the housing. this is such a pain in the ass cuz everying is bent.

Adjustable headlight? Not that I know off. That is to adjust your beam light, not your headlight. |
well, they are adjustable in a way... atleast for my del sol headlights there is a screw on each side of the headlight to adjust the tilt of the lightbulb to raise or lower the beam put out
when you say "The lights are pointing straight ahead, but ones too high and the other is too low." it sounds like you might be talking about the beam, which should be able to be easily adjusted with a philips head screw driver theres a screw on each side of the headlight that you might've thought was for something else, but that might be your golden ticket https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif give it a try -- cant hurt |
