Stock exhaust - Aftermarket Headers
Hey guys i have a question that i NEED answered so i can get this car on the road & for the sake of my neighbors. i have a aftermarket (ebay) header that has a collector ending after the oil pan & is clocked so that the flanged has the bolts high on the driver side & lower on the passenger side . my stock exhaust flange is the opposite way, i wish to reuse this new stoxk exhaust to pass emissions but i want to use it for now. is there any way i could get some type of clamp , or maybe get a pipe & weld the according flanges onto it ?
Thanks
Thanks

For that, you'd want to check in the regional subforums.
It's literally a simple cut, clock, and weld job. Anyone with half a brain can do it, and it's kind of stupid that you're willing to trust some random stranger on the internet, but not a professional who gets paid to do this kind of thing for a living.

a lot of mobile welders show their work & ask me what metals they are . most shops i been to want me to leave it there for a couple days & charge me $100 to weld on a flange . wen mostly likely it'll jus b a crappy oxidated weld w a old 2 bolt flange they had lying around. plus i would have to tow it to them for free if i can boro a trailer/dolly or $55 for a u haul dolly. so thats ~150 for a "professional job" that i'll have to dolly there & have them burn up my clutch & possibly "test drive" my new swap . sorry I've learned by working n shops to never trust another grease monkey unless u kno em . the least i'll get back from a fixed exhaust there is a chip n my driver door & a hep. infested car. lmao
i even brought my pipe w me & they said they didnt have time.. i'll keep looking tho . i have trust issues w my baby.
