Hey everyone, first time poster here so please go easy on me! Never thought I would have to ask but I am out of good ideas. Ok so I did a b16 swap on my 97 civic, have had no real major issues for some time now but I have been having a very intermittent problem. I will be giving gas and at random times there will be no smooth RPM gain like normal. You can give the gas and the RPM will just stay at one spot one the Tach, then give it more gas and it will take a second but give you power and throw you in the seat. It will usually happen at 2500 to 5000 RPM... At times the RPM will also just sit at 2000 when I let off the gas to stop, like the throttle is stuck. I can get it to drop to a normal idle, but I have to tap the gas to get it to drop. I was recently getting an engine light for Fuel system but have cleared the code and it hasn't returned just yet. It did take a couple days last time for it to come back tho.

So this is what I have tried, I have changed spark plugs and wires as well as the distributor. Checked fluids and all are good there. I have checked for Fuel pressure and that is good as well. Checked the fuel filter and no blockage there either. Changed the FPR with no change. Last thing I changed was the PCV valve. I have also run some bad *** fuel injector cleaner so I am pretty sure it's not a clogged injector, maybe just a failing one. So now at this point the only other things I can think of are the injectors or maybe even the ECU. I am running a OBD1 P72 with a jumper harness. I am going to check the wiring for the injectors, and try running a stock OBD2 P72. So I guess if anyyone can give me some more Ideas or easy things to try that I haven't thought of please let me know!
